What happens if the recipient don't get the money

M2A adhere strictly to its payment policy so in case of making payment straight to personal accounts in Nigeria; it can be that the money is paid in but not posted by the bank cashier till the evening or next day in Nigeria. So we always advise that the receivers go to collect the money personally. Even that will NOT guarantee that the money is posted immediately for the recipient's collection.

The money was paid in but not complete..

This happens if the recipient's bank deducts their Commission and VAT on Turnover from money that is delivered (by M2A) into a Nigerian corporate account. This usually happens per transaction.

How come my Receiver hasn't got the SMS confirmation from the Bank?

The Nigerian Banks I.T Network might be down after the payments are made but we try to inform the senders if there's an outage in any Bank in Nigeria before we post the payment from UK.

How long does a transaction take? The same day the UK payment is made and cleared to our accounts. Making payments by BACS does take 2 to 3 working days to appear in the recipients accounts in UK and/or Nigeria. But once the accounts are validated on both sides then the next payment is normally treated same day and 'posted to clear'

Can my receiver get the money in US Dollars or GB Pounds? It can be arranged but may incur some fees. We prefer to settle in Naira at the pick-up points.

What is the minimum and maximum to send? Note: Proof of Photo ID (valid Intl Passport, Driving Lic) and Address (any utility, mobile phone bills, Bank statement, etc within 3 months) is required for amounts from £600.00. Further proof of income could be asked for amounts over £1,000.00. Please Phone customer service on 0208 133 7656 for full details

How often does the rate changes? Money Markets rates are volatile and changes accordingly without notices.

Do you have an AGENT in my Area?

Not at the moment. We are in the process of appointing Agents but it might not be close to your location.
